After four fabulous collaborations resulting in hand-printed limited edition objects we are very proud of, we have decided to conclude the project. It was a labor of love, we gained many valuable new skills and had many memorable adventures together. Amber is currently pursuing her masters in counseling and Helena is getting her MFA, finally!
CANCELING A SUBSCRIPTION / REFUND POLICY
Subscriptions are non-refundable. We ask that subscribers commit to one year's worth of editions in exchange for a significant reduction of the price paid for each individual piece. Once you have received the four objects that are part of your one year cycle you will have the option to re-subscribe for another year.
MISSING AN EDITION
We send email updates announcing when to expect each new edition to arrive. If you find an edition hasn't arrived please contact us at email@example.com to let us know and we will be sure to resolve the issue.
BUYING PAST EDITIONS
Once we have fulfilled our commitments to subscribers we will make the remaining individual editions available for purchase on our website.
We will do our best to replace editions that are found damaged upon arrival. Please contact us ASAP if you have this issue. If the damaged editions is sold out we will either refund you the value of that edition or replace it with one from an upcoming production.
POSTAL ADDRESS ERROR
If an edition is returned to us by the post office and it is due to an error made by the buyer during the check-out process we will have to charge for shipping a second time to cover our costs. If we find it is due to an error made by us or the post office we will not charge for shipping.
THE ARTIST'S ROLE
Each edition is made through a collaborative process by the Alula Editions team and a featured artist or group of artists. Each production will vary in terms of the roles the featured artists have in the design, printing and construction of each edition. Some artists will undoubtedly want to have a very hands-on role, while others will be happy to have us take their concept and run with it. At the moment everything is hand silkscreened and hand sewn by Alula Editions in the Bay Area.
Each edition size will be determined by the size our our subscriber base. Much like a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) model we will be using subscriber funds to purchase materials needed to make the editions. We will also produce a few extra editions for those who do not want to make the year-long commitment. Each editions will be signed and numbered and we will not make more once production is complete.
